Gladstone is a city located in Delta County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 5,032.
U.S. Highway 2 and U.S. Highway 41 run concurrently through the city, connecting with Escanaba, nine miles to the south. US 41 runs north to Marquette and US 2 runs east to Manistique. Michigan State Highway 35 runs northwest 52 miles to Gwinn and merges with US 2/US 41 south to Escanaba.
The city is on a small projection into the Little Bay de Noc, which opens onto the Bay of Green Bay on Lake Michigan.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 20.4 km2 (7.9 mi2). 12.8 km2 (5.0 mi2) of it is land and 7.6 km2 (2.9 mi2) of it is water. The total area is 37.14% water.
